The constantly expanding product range of Homematic IP offers a variety of devices for climate control, security, weather monitoring, light and shutter control applications, along with various accessory components. The climate control devices provide room-by-room control of radiators throughout the house, resulting in potential energy savings of up to 30%. Additionally, Homematic IP products efficiently manage floor heating systems. The security components ensure that no movement goes unnoticed, promptly alerting users whenever windows or doors are opened. The user-friendly app provides instant assurance that everything is secure at home. For enhanced comfort, Homematic IP offers switching and dimming actuators for light control, as well as products for automating shutters and blinds. All Homematic IP devices for brand switches can be easily integrated into existing switch series using our adapters.
The operation requires a Homematic IP Access Point, in conjunction with the Homematic IP app (no recurring costs). Once installed, the system can be conveniently controlled through the app, remote control, or wall-mounted push-button. Moreover, the Homematic IP app allows for the combination of nearly all devices and conditions from various application areas. This versatility enables pre-programmed functionalities and the configuration of individual automation rules, offering users boundless creative flexibility. Furthermore, Homematic IP supports voice control services such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Individual devices are configured through the Homematic IP cloud service, which operates exclusively on servers located in Germany to comply with European and German data protection guidelines. All data stored in the Homematic IP cloud remains completely anonymous and does not reveal any information about the user's identity or personal usage behavior. Additionally, all communication between the Access Point, cloud, and app is encrypted. Significantly, during both before and after app installation, no private data - such as name, email address or mobile phone number - is required, thereby ensuring complete anonymity protection.
